Need motivation to read that Chinese book?
This is a book club for those who are English speaking and trying to learn Chinese and need some friends! We invite Chinese learners of all levels and invite everyone to bring their own learning goals.
The format of the session will be this: in the first 20 minutes we will invite a fluent Chinese community member to tell us about a book they recently read. This way we can all practice listening, and can chat about the story or analysis. In the next portion, we will share each of our personal goals, and then try and converse about what we read and learned in Chinese.
For the first meeting just come with a goal in mind and maybe some ideas of what you want to read! Tuesdays at 8pm @Bookworm (yes, caterpillars can be a kind of bookworm).
