Dane Frode Z. Olsen’s professional career involved more than four decades of international police work, including five years investigating in China. In his latest novel As The Dragon Raises the Head he draws on two real-life unsolved murders, the double murder in Copenhagen in 1948 of a husband and wife, and the brutal murder of a young woman in Beijing in 1937.

Frode Z. Olsen will discuss the complex and secretive world of international policing and how it inspired his fifth novel, As The Dragon Raises the Head, which has just been published in Chinese by People Literature Publishing House.
