Announcing: Beijing Blend Anniversary Party and Charity Event

Beijing Blend Anniversary Event poster

On Friday, August 14, the culture media group Beijing Blend will celebrate its first birthday with a party / charity extravaganza at The Bookworm. In true Beijing Blend fashion, its party will mix music, art, drink and conversation, all for a good cause: in conjunction with social enterprise Education in Sight, proceeds will go toward children affected by poor vision in rural areas.

The Bookworm’s walls will be lined with works of documentary photographers Liu Fei Yue and Nathan Chester, while live music will be performed by Australian singer-songwriter Tash Jamieson of The Groove Collective. Afterwards DJ Panda Chief will play a set that’ll take the party late into the night.

Furthermore, your ticket will get you canapes and sangria! Cheers will provide the sangria, which will be free-flow until 10 pm (or until the 80 liters runs out). It’ll be a true Beijing B(l)ender.

100 RMB (includes free canapes and sangria; proceeds go to Education in Sight)

Buy your ticket at The Bookworm, or reserve by emailing [email protected] or calling 6503 2050.

You can also order tickets online if you’d like. After you complete your order, your ticket will be available for pickup at The Bookworm.
